Battery Powered Hoop Installation

Installation guide for the Gladiator battery-powered actuator wall-mounted basketball hoop — universal for the 18" and 3' overhang models.

Wall backing: fill 88" to 120" from the floor with clear 2"x10" or 2"x12" lumber doubled to 3" minimum thickness, secured into 3 studs and rated for 1,000 lbs of downward force. The wall plate is 17-3/4" wide.
Mounting height: the bottom of the base frame goes 92" from the floor on the 18" overhang model, or 88" on the 3' overhang model. Either way the rim lands at 10' when fully raised.
Wall anchors: 14 total 1/2" x 4" lag bolts (not included) — 2 to hang the plate, 12 more after the backboard is levelled.

Apply the supplied anti-seize compound to all assembly hardware. Do not install the hoop until proper backing is in the wall. Questions: (651) 269-5950.
